Motion Trio est un trio d’accordéon fondé en 1996 par Janusz Wojtarowicz, leader et auteur de la plupart des compositions. C’est un événement sur le marché musical européen et mondial. En jouant leur propre musique, Motion Trio change l’aspect de l’accordéon. Leurs concerts se constituent de spectacles de musique qui comportent de l’action ainsi que de la dramaturgie. Le groupe se présente parfaitement dans les salles de concert, les théâtres, les églises aussi bien que dans les clubs.

Leur façon de jouer est influencée par des styles de musique différents: rock, jazz et musique classique. Bien que le groupe soit jeune, il a donné des concerts avec de tels artistes comme: Krzysztof Penderecki, Bobby McFerrin, Wojciech Kilar, Krzesimir Dębski, Trilok Gurtu, Michał Urbaniak , Tomasz Stańko, WDR Rundfunkorchester Köln, Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg, Sinfonietta Riga , Sinfonietta Cracovia, Rio de Janeiro Orquestra do Teatro Municipal. Ils sont lauréats du Grand Prix du IVe Concours International de Musique de Chambre Contemporaine, le Concours Krzysztof Penderecki.

I have had an opportunity to listen to Motion Trio several times, both in Poland and abroad. This is exceptional accordion trio. The group led by Janusz Wojtarowicz, who is also the compozer of pieces by the trio plays also jazz, and promotes modern music.

The activity of the group is worth supporting, not only becouse of its exceptional character, but also due to the high artistic lavel of its musicians.
